The Story of Two Skiers, Ryan Michelle

We met in 2015 and quickly realized we were better when we went outside, together. Soon we built our life around mountains, adventure, and design.

From spontaneously deciding to send it on our fourth date at Whistler, to road-tripping for fresh snow across the Rockies and Tahoe, the mountain has always been the third partner in our relationship. We got married and moved to Breckenridge where Ryan logged 102 ski days (we don't talk about the budget for that season). Soon, the idea for McSenderson was born.

It was a late-night, garage-startup moment in 2023. With our first Baby Shredder in tow, we created the very first map, designed to chronicle all our shared powder days. We skipped the corporate feel, focused on timeless design, and crafted a living room-worthy piece that was immediately a hit on Etsy. At this point, with Baby Shredder number two now in the mix, our garage idea has become part of the fabric of the ski community.

McSenderson creates beautifully designed products that celebrate not just the mountains we love, but the family traditions, the friendships, and the collective stoke that ties it all together.
