Letters from the Shredders – Submission Terms

By submitting a story, letter, message, or any other content (“Submission”) to McSenderson as part of the Letters from the Shredders series, you agree to the following terms:

Content Rights & Usage

By submitting content, you grant McSenderson a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your Submission. This includes, but is not limited to, use across social media, email, website, advertising, print, video, and future marketing or promotional materials.

Editing & Presentation

McSenderson may edit Submissions for length, clarity, grammar, or formatting while preserving the original meaning and intent. Stories may be shared in full or in part.

Attribution & Identity

If you include your name, location, year, social handle, likeness, or voice, you grant permission for McSenderson to use these in connection with your Submission. Attribution may be included at McSenderson’s discretion. If you prefer to remain anonymous, please indicate that clearly in your Submission.

Original Work Confirmation

You confirm that your Submission is your original work, that you have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party. You also confirm that it does not contain confidential, defamatory, unlawful, or harmful material.

Voluntary Submission & No Compensation

Submissions are voluntary. You acknowledge that you will not receive monetary compensation for your Submission. Any reposts, features, or invitations to participate further are at the sole discretion of McSenderson.

No Guarantee of Publication

Submitting content does not guarantee it will be published or shared. McSenderson reserves the right to decide if, when, and how Submissions are used.

Outdoor Activity Disclaimer

Submissions may describe outdoor or mountain activities that involve inherent risks. McSenderson does not encourage unsafe behavior. Shared stories are for storytelling and community purposes only and should not be considered instruction or advice.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to submit content, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Removal Requests

Requests to remove published content may be considered but are not guaranteed, especially if the content has already been shared across platforms or marketing materials.

Acceptance of Terms

Submission of any content through mail, email, direct message, or other communication channels constitutes acceptance of these terms.
